Danco Marine Cranes - mounted to Canadian Coast Guard Ship Gordon Reid

Deploying cranes for marine applications requires features to enable the crane to stand up to the elements.  Our marine cranes feature

  • Powerful slewing systems designed for tough marine conditions
  • use all galvanized steel,
  • chemical nickle plating on all pins
  • double cross chrome plating on all barrels
  • stainless steel fittings and hoses
  • whole structure shot blasted and treated with zinc base prior painting (min. thick. 100 Microns) 
  • First layer of paint done with epoidal b-component, final coat with polyurethane be-component enamel
The controls and winches for these marine cranes are designed to accomodate the undulations of waves while loading and unloading. Available in 15 distinct model ranges from 2 tm through to 42tm.

Commercial Truck supplied a pair of 32 tonne Amco Veba cranes for the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Gordon Reid, pictured above.  These cranes are pedestal mounted, come from the factory with seals,  chroming, and finishes designed specifically to resist the corrosive marine environment, and provide reliability in the harshest conditions.
